Have just returned from Istanbul where I completed filming on a documentary about Istanbul's first popup restaurant.

 Next week I'm off to the Norwegian town of Rjukan for another documentary based project.  The valley town is in perpetual shadow in the Winter months, the sun never getting beyond the mountain peaks that surround it.  However Martin Anderson, a local artist and lifeguard at the municipal baths, constructed a series of mirrors to reflect the sun into the town's central square and give the residents a little relief.  A project based around the healing powers of light is a bit of a score for a DP so very much looking forward to it.  It'll be shot on the C300 and directed by Tom Barbor-Might.
